From the CTIA Newswire: "According to a Barron's Online report, at the end of 2004, 62% of the U.S. population owned wireless phones. Wireless carriers reported the best first quarter ever in 2005, adding 6.6 million wireless subscribers in the quarter at 64% penetration.
