Electronic Arts Launches Mobile Gaming

"Electronic Arts announced it will team up with Qualcomm to launch its video games on wireless phones. The company aims to launch 15 to 20 games in 2005. (Source: Dow Jones Newswire)"

From the CTIA newswire - games are coming to a phone near you, produced by the Electronic Arts drones. The enormous, largely empty EA building on the Playa Del Ray - a green block of glass with a gorgeous view, apparently houses many of the EA programmers who build cubicle walls in such a way as to avoid seeing the wall-sized windows in fear that their precious computer screens will reflect too much light and they may have to actually spend time somewhere where there is more natural than artificial lighting. The said building also includes a gym, a soccer field and other trappings of a space that expects its inhabitants to live there and attempts to compensate for the damage done to their sitting bones by Aero chairs. In other news, EA is considering several university partnerships for some very interesting research.
